It was 2005 the Metropole Orkest, thanks to Gosatvo Pazos artistic direction, the Orchestra had chosen and had commissioned me a special concert inspired by the successful album Voyage en Sardaigne : the Metropole strings together with my large band, who had already done many Voyage en Sardaigne concerts
We had to work on new arrangements of the show and I worked together with Daniele Di Bonaventura for the creation of this new show.
The group consisted of me on saxophones together with the Tenores of Bitti, polyphonic singers with 4 voices from Sardinia, Giuseppe Orrù launeddas and small Sardinian flutes, Marcello Peghin 10-string guitar, Daniele Di Bonaventura piano, bandoneon and orchestral direction, Salvatore Maltana double bass, UT Gandhi drums and finally the entire string section of the Metropole Orkest.

Those were days of hard work with an extraordinary atmosphere.
The concert was a success and was broadcast on the Dutch National Radio.
